Our care doesn't stop at just cats and dogs, Sit Happens has experience in caring for farm animals (horses, cows, pigs, etc.), small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.), reptiles, birds, and fish! My name is Jesse Willis. I was born and raised in the Kennesaw area, and I currently reside in Acworth. I am pretty involved in fostering, rescue, and rehabbing dogs within my community or surrounding communities.
I have 10 years (and counting) of veterinary experience. While I do have a solid amount of experience in general practice vet med I have dedicated myself for a few years to emergency medicine. I obtained my BLS/ALS so I have great knowledge and practice on administering life saving measures when time is critical - should the need ever arise. I was raised in a home with working dogs as my dad was a K9 handler. I myself have had my own Maligators, German Shepherds, Labradors, and everything in-between. I understand the stimulation that most of the working breeds require to stay semi "calm". I am Fear Free certified as well! Which means I have spent time learning about dog and cat body language and how to deescalate anxieties from animals. I will always take the least stressful route to keep pets safe and as comfortable as possible.
